DESCRIPTION:On October 10\, 2024 The Town Council (sitting in as the CRA (Community Redevelopment Agency) of the Town of Cinco Bayou will hold a Public Hearing to consider amending the FY 2023/2024 CRA Budget as well as discussing the possible purchase of the 2 vacant lots on Sea Way Street and Lucille Street using TDD funds. The Public Hearing will be starting at 5:45 p.m.\, followed by the Regular Council Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Hall\,  10 Yacht Club Drive\, Cinco Bayou\, FL.  All  meetings will be open to the press and public. \nA copy of the proposed budget may be obtained and/or inspected by any member of the public at the Cinco Bayou Town Hall\, 10 Yacht Club Drive\, Cinco Bayou\, Florida 32548 during the business hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.  Interested parties attending the meeting will be heard with respect to the proposed amended budget.  Any interested party who decides to appeal any decision made by the Town Council with respect to any matter considered during this meeting\, will need a record of the proceedings and\, for such purpose\, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made\, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  This notice does not constitute consent by the Town for the introduction or admission of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence\, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law. \nA public hearing encourages the public to provide written and/or verbal comments on the above matter under consideration. DESCRIPTION:The Town of Cinco Bayou will be a drop off site for donations for the hurricane victims in the Big Bend area. We have a trailer headed there on Friday. We are accepting the usual items as well as gift cards to help the local economy! They have a Walmart\, Winn Dixie\, Tractor Supply\, Dollar Tree and Dollar General as well as locally owned stores\, bakery\, ect. Please PM me for local pickup!! Thank you all so much!!\n\n\nList of items needed:\nPop up canopy tents\, folding tables\, pop up folding chairs\, towels\, blow up mattress and sheets/pillows\, ibuprofen\, trash bags\, gloves\, rubber boots\, hats\, underwear\, socks\, basic clothing\, drinks that aren’t just water\, cell phone chargers\, gas cards\, gas cans\, full propane tanks\, sunscreen\, bug spray\, shovels\, rakes\, tarps\, baby wipes\, soap/shampoo\, toothbrushes and toothpaste\, deodorant\, first aid kits\, travel style laundry detergent\, lanterns\, flashlights\, fans. Basic cooking supplies\, sugar\, flower\, etc.\nchildren’s items like coloring books\, toys\, hand held games\, Halloween candy etc.\n\n\nThese people don’t have houses left so they are basically camping so any type of camping gear is welcomed and basic hygiene products.
