The Okaloosa Health Department has issued a new water quality advisory for Cinco Bayou. Tests completed by the Okaloosa County Natural Resources Department on Thursday, Sep. 17, indicate the water quality at Cinco Bayou does not meet the state’s recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria.

Opening Friday (Sept. 4) afternoon:

Cinco Bayou Boat Ramp and brand new parking area will be open in the afternoon on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, ahead of the Labor Day weekend.

Please be mindful of the signs and trailer traffic pattern.

As always, be courteous to other boaters in and around the boat ramp.

Commercial activity like pontoon rentals is prohibited at all County boat ramps.
