MAYOR HOOD TO CALL TO ORDER THE 1st PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE CRA FY 2026/2027 BUDGET.

TOWN COUNCIL SITTING IN AS THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY.

ROLL CALL: MAYOR JEAN HOOD; COUNCILMAN DILLARD; COUNCILWOMAN DRIVER; COUNCILWOMAN HAWKINS; COUNCILWOMAN STEIGNER; COUNCILWOMAN GAMMICK.

Regular Business:

1. Action on Consensus of Council from budget workshops to approve the tentative FY 2026/2027 CRA Budget to be set at $431,609.00.
2. CRA action to recommend to the Town Council to amend the Line-Item FY 2025/2026 CRA General Fund Budget outlined in the Line-Item Budget Workshop on July 29 2025, with the following changes:

541.633 – TROY STREET CRA IMPROVEMENTS: nothing to report on this line item, It will be removed from next year’s budget.

541634 – BOOM LIFT FOR STREESCAPE: We purchased the lift at the end of last year’s FY but was already included in the FY2024/2025 budget, so it will be deleted.

552.540 – BOOKS,PUB,SUB & MEMBERSHIP: Overage due to the new website created to accommodate the dedicated page for the CRA Plan as well as the CRA maps.
